Vincennes Radio Personality Ed Ballinger dies at 65, Leaving A Lasting Impact on Local Broadcasting

Funeral arrangements have been made for longtime Vincennes radio voice Ed Ballinger who died Wednesday at an Indianapolis Hospital at the age of 65.

Ed was the former morning host for WZDM and play-by-play announcer for Vincennes Lincoln and Rivet High School basketball.

He is survived by his wife Jill and children, Nathan and Jensen.

Friends may visit Ed’s family from 3-7 pm on Thursday, March 5th at Community Church of Vincennes, 1548 S. Hart Street Road, and from 10:00 am until the funeral service which begins at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6th at the church.

In lieu of the flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Church of Vincennes, the Vincennes Animal Shelter or the Isaiah 117 House of Knox County.
