Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Detected in Daviess Co.

The Indiana Board of Animal Health reports a commercial turkey flock in Daviess County has been quarantined due to the detection of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

The flock size is over 30,000.

A 10-kilometer Control Area includes portions of Daviess and Martin Counties.

A 20-kilometer Surveillance Zone also includes portions of Daviess and Martin Counties.
