Loogootee Police warn of an incident last Thursday in which a man in a Toyota Camry approached a juvenile female at a residence on the westside of town, motioning her to come near.
The mother took her inside, and the vehicle left shortly after.
Authorities have received reports of suspicious vehicles in the area and are actively patrolling. Residents are urged to report any information to the police at (812) 295-2246 or call 911 in emergencies.
