In the past year, the Indiana State Police’s initiative to protect Hoosier children led to 499 arrests for crimes against children and the rescue of 126 victims.
Governor Mike Braun is highlighting the growing success of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which expanded from 470 to 520 officers between January 2025 and February, following thousands of new investigative tips.
Through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Indiana State Police and their local partners were able to put hundreds of child predators behind bars in 2025.
- Total number of cybertips received: 29,635 (38% increase in comparison to 2024)
- Total Number of investigations: 3,164
- Total number of arrests: 499
- Number of children rescued from ongoing abuse: 126
- Already in 2026, ICAC has received 2,951 tips, a 29% increase in comparison to this month last year.
