The Indiana House voted 57 to 41 Friday to approve a new congressional map that would favor Republicans.
The map is designed to give the GOP control of all nine of the state’s congressional districts.
The map is being redrawn between census counts.
It had just been redrawn in 2021.
President Trump and Vice President Vance have been pressuring Republicans in Indiana to do so.
The Indiana Senate is expected to vote on the redrawn map next week.
However, state senate Republicans say there isn’t enough support for the new map.
