Indiana Republican Senator Mike Bohacek said on Friday that he will be voting “NO” on redistricting in the state, citing President Trump’s use of a derogatory term for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Truth Social.
Bohacek, whose daughter has Down Syndrome, said Trump’s insulting language has consequences.
The Indiana House of Representatives will reconvene first on Monday.
On Tuesday, Bray announced that the Senate would meet a few days after on December 8th.
The Indiana General Assembly’s 2026 session is expected to wrap up by the end of February 2026.
