The annual Safe Family Travel campaign gets underway this week to keep Hoosier roads safe during the holiday season.
From this Wednesday through the month of December, Indiana Police, including Washington Police and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, are working overtime on saturation patrols focused on impaired driving, aggressive driving, and seat belt violations.
Officials say alcohol-impaired driving and not wearing a seat belt continue to be major causes of deadly holiday crashes.
