A Delaware County sheriff’s deputy was killed in a crash on Interstate 69 early Wednesday morning.
Corporal Blake Reynolds had been with the department for four years and had just got married in June.
Indiana State Police say their preliminary investigation shows Deputy Reynolds had stopped to assist a disabled semi-truck that was partially in the roadway.
While on scene, another northbound semi lost control and struck both the disabled truck and Reynold’s cruiser.
