Indianapolis International Airport to See Cutbacks

Indianapolis International Airport is included in a list from the Federal Aviation Administration of airports expected to see cutbacks in services.

The FAA announced on Wednesday that air traffic will be cut by 10% at 40 major airports due to staffing shortages from the ongoing government shutdown.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said the shutdown is creating “staffing pressures” while they are short about 2,000 air traffic controllers.
