Former IMPD Officer Kills Wife, Injures Two Daughters

Former Indianapolis Metropolitan Police reserve officer Thomas Nolan shot and killed his wife and injured their two daughters before taking his own life Monday night.

The 43-year-old retired in May of this year.

Dispatch was still on the phone with one of his daughters when he started to fire the gun.

Thomas and his 41-year-old wife, Ashley, were found dead in the back yard.
