Innocent Bystander Killed in Terre Haute Shooting Incident

Terre Haute Police are investigating a shooting incident early Sunday morning in the 600 block of Wabash Avenue in which a man shot himself and innocent bystander.

The innocent bystander later died from their injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect brandished a weapon for an unknown reason and discharged it, striking both himself and the innocent bystander.

Police took the suspect and a firearm into custody.
