State Police say a Washington woman is facing various charges after she disregarded a stop sign Tuesday near Loogootee in Martin County.
While speaking with 48-year-old Brandy Rominger, a state trooper detected signs of criminal activity and searched her vehicle.
That search turned up marijuana and paraphernalia.
Rominger also showed signs of impairment.
She was arrested and taken to Daviess Community Hospital for a chemical test.
Rominger is being held in the Martin County Jail on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia, Operating While Intoxicated, and Operating While Intoxicated with a Schedule one or two Controlled Substance in the Blood.
