Paoli Police arrested a Carlisle woman Friday who was wanted in Sullivan County for child abuse, including serious bodily injury and neglect.
35-year-old Rachelle Kitchell was wanted for offenses stemming from a nearly two-year period of alleged abuse involving multiple children.
The alleged abuse was reported by the children’s grandmother.
Allegations against Kitchell include the intentional removal of toenails, burning the children, and the use of remote-controlled shock collars as a means of punishment.
Kitchell is currently facing three counts of Domestic Battery with Serious Bodily Injury to an individual under 14, three counts of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, and three counts of Domestic Battery with Bodily Injury.
Kitchell is being held without bond in the Sullivan County Jail.
