Ground Broken for 50-Unit Apartment Complex in Loogootee

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday for a new 50-unit apartment complex in Loogootee.

Oak Street Village will also include a 4,500 square foot childcare facility that will bring 60 childcare seats to Martin County.

The development also includes more pickleball courts for the community.

Officials say Oak Street Village will also create opportunities for young people, who leave for college or trade school, and want to return home to build their future.
