The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says an Edwardsport man was arrested early Wednesday morning after drugs were found in his car during a traffic stop on State Road 67 at Bruce Road.
42-year-old Adam Decoursey, who was pulled over for having no working taillights, had been arrested back in May for Possession of Cocaine.
After a police K-9 alerted deputies to the presence of illegal drugs in Decoursey’s vehicle, police found over 24 grams of crack cocaine and a glass smoking device.
Decoursey had nearly $6,500 on his person that was seized, along with the cocaine, as evidence.
Decoursey is facing preliminary charges of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
He was released from the Knox County Jail on $1,500 bond.
