Hoosiers Urged to Drive Safely and Plan Ahead for 4th of July Weekend

Indiana State Police and INDOT are reminding Hoosiers to drive safely and plan ahead for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Extra patrols will be on the roads targeting drunk, high, or distracted drivers.

Drivers are urged to buckle up, obey speed limits, and report impaired drivers by calling 911.

Most road work will pause from today through Monday, but drivers should still be cautious in construction zones.
