Rise Recovery and United Way of Daviess County have announced that Rise Recovery has been awarded a matching capital grant of up to $196,200 through the Indiana United Ways Statewide Capital Projects Initiative.
Those funds will be used to build out recently acquired space within walking distance of the Daviess County jail but open to the community.
The center will offer a variety of wraparound supports, group classes, and peer-led recovery supports for individuals re-entering the community following incarceration.
In addition, it will be open to individuals across the community who have no justice involvement but seek support to develop healthy habits and conquer mental health and substance abuse challenges.
Renovation of Rise Recovery’s new space begins this June and is anticipated to take up to four months.
