Federal health officials say a children’s cough syrup marketed under the brand name Little Remedies is being recalled over microbial contamination.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration released an alert of the voluntary recall issued by Medtech Products Incorporated.
The recall was issued due to the presence of Bacillus cereus, which can cause two kinds of food-borne illnesses and loss of shelf-stability.
The product, “Little Remedies Honey Cough Syrup” was distributed nationally in retailers and online from December 14th, 2022 through June 4th 2025.
The cough syrup is packaged in a four-fluid-ounce amber bottle.
