Terre Haute Receives Federal Grant for Infrastructure Improvements Near Airport

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded the City of Terre Haute a $664,875 grant to upgrade infrastructure near the Terre Haute Regional Airport and the 181st Intelligence Wing.

City officials plan to use the funds to expand utility access, supporting military readiness and future development.

City Engineer Marcus Maurer said the improvements will address critical infrastructure needs and open doors for job growth and long-term investment.
