Indiana State Police arrested a Dubois County man Friday morning in connection with a road rage incident on I-64 in Vanderburgh County.
Police say 69-year-old Allan Messmer of Celestine pointed a handgun at the driver of a utility truck he was passing.
State troopers caught up with Messmer in Warrick County.
He was found to be in possession of a nine-millimeter handgun.
Police say the weapon’s magazine was full, but it was not loaded.
Messmer is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a preliminary felony charge of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon and a misdemeanor charge of Pointing an Unloaded Weapon at another Person.
