Grand Opening Held for New Toyota Indiana YMCA In Downtown Princeton

The YMCA of Southwestern Indiana welcomed more than 400 people to celebrate Friday’s grand opening of the new Toyota Indiana YMCA in downtown Princeton.

The 56,000-square-foot facility combines the former Lowell Elementary School—donated by the North Gibson School Corporation—with a modern addition.

It features a pool, gymnasium, wellness space, STEM lab, and a teen-focused Universal Lounge.

The project received $5 million from the READI Initiative and $13.8 million in TIF funding.
