The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down in Linton Friday night.
There were also reports of softball-sized hail in Sullivan County.
WTWO viewers in Sullivan and Dugger reported seeing hail, while TV footage from Worthington showed a tornado passing through.
Photos of large hail in the Wabash Valley were also submitted by viewers.
Additionally, a tornado was confirmed near Bloomington and Ellettsville.
Meanwhile, a series of tornadoes caused widespread storm damage in western and southern Monroe County with significant damage reported at the Ranchero Motel and Clear Creek Post Office.
Approximately 75 homes, the Ranchero Motel, and eight duplexes were damaged, with five non-life-threatening storm-related injuries reported.
Emergency personnel responded to downed trees, live power lines, and structural damage in several areas, with road closures due to debris and downed utilities.
Residents in need of shelter were urged to contact the American Red Cross for assistance.
