New Entrance at Washington Primary

To alleviate traffic congestion during arrival and dismissal at Washington Primary, Washington Community Schools has built a new entrance behind Washington Primary off East Highland Avenue.

Parents dropping off and picking up students should enter through the East Highland Avenue entrance, follow the single lane to the parking lot, and turn left into the lot.

Following the perimeter of the parking lot, pull up to the 1st of 6 designated spots in front of the gym.

Students should exit the car from the driver’s side.

Adults should stay seated in the car.

Staff will greet families, help students out of cars, and escort them into the building.

Drivers will then exit onto 11th Street.

The school Resource Officer will be directing traffic.
