Man Accused of Digging Up Grave to Steal Ring from Fishers Cemetery

In Fishers, Indiana, a man is accused of digging up a grave to steal a ring.

Police first located a suspicious vehicle while on routine patrol Monday night near Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

Officers say 24-year-old Seth Davidson of Indianapolis showed up to the car covered in dirt.

Davidson allegedly told police he had dug up an urn containing a gold ring, which he knew about because he previously worked at the cemetery.

Davidson is charged with Cemetery Mischief, Criminal Trespass and Theft.
