Changes could be coming soon to the diplomas which high school students in Indiana receive.
State Education Secretary Dr. Katie Jenner says the current diploma requirements are outdated and that a new proposal gives students the option to choose a path emphasizing vocational or educational skills.
Not all lawmakers are on board with the proposal.
State Representative Victoria Wilburn, a Noblesville Democrat, says she feels too many current graduation requirements would be tossed if the proposal were to become law.
