Lawrence Co. Deputy Killed in Greene Co. Motorcycle Crash

A crash in Greene County has claimed the life of a Lawrence County sheriff’s deputy.

25-year-old Brenten Trueblood of Bedford was killed in a motorcycle crash after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Officials say the motorcycle went off East State Road 445, near Interstate 69, for an unknown reason.

He was pronounced dead at IU-Health Hospital Bloomington.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office posted a statement on social media saying Deputy Trueblood will be missed dearly.
