Accused Killer in The U.S. Illegally

Wilson Chavez, accused of killing his coworker at a Terre Haute hotel, is confirmed to be in the United States illegally.

The victim, Jaime Munoz, was found dead in their shared hotel room.

Police say Chavez shot Munoz and dragged his body before leaving.

Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun stated that the city is cooperating with federal agencies in the investigation.

Chavez is currently in jail facing murder charges, with police collaborating with the FBI and ICE.
