
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is setting up disaster loan outreach centers in Vigo and Monroe Counties.
Due to the June 25th storms, residents of Monroe, Vigo, and nearby counties can apply for low-interest disaster loans.
The centers opened Monday and will remain open until August 5th.
The Vigo County Center is located on the Ivy Tech campus at 800 Education Drive in Terre Haute.
The hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
In Monroe County, the disaster loan outreach center will be located at the Frank Southern Ice Arena at 21-hundred South Henderson Street in Bloomington.
The hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Residents and businesses in Monroe, Vigo, and surrounding counties can get help with disaster loan applications and questions.
The deadline for physical property damage applications is September 16th.
