WIN Energy REMC Names Beard as New CEO

WIN Energy REMC’s Board of Directors has selected Leslie Beard as the electric cooperative’s new Chief Executive Officer effective August 1st.

Beard succeeds Tom Nowaskie who will retire from the cooperative on July 31st after more than 45 years of service.

Beard began her career at WIN Energy REMC in October 2000 as a customer service

representative after graduating from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

She has served as the cooperative’s Chief Operating Officer since December 2020.
