The Agribusiness Council of Indiana recognized Kevin Still, the soon-to-retire president and CEO of Keystone Cooperative, with its Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating a career dedicated to advancing Indiana agriculture through visionary leadership, innovation and an unwavering commitment to the cooperative mission. The ACI Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes leaders whose careers have had a profound and lasting impact on Indiana’s agribusiness industry.
For 0ver more than four decades with Keystone Cooperative, including 42 years as president and CEO, Still helped guide the organization through a period of unprecedented growth. Under his leadership, Keystone expanded its geographic footprint, invested in modern grain infrastructure, strengthened agronomy and energy operations and positioned itself as one of the nation’s largest agricultural cooperatives. Throughout that growth, Still remained focused on the cooperative’s purpose – delivering value to farmer-owners while investing in the long-term success of rural communities.
“Kevin’s career has been defined by looking ahead while never losing sight of the farmers and communities he serves,” said Melissa Rekeweg, president and CEO of the Agribusiness Council of Indiana. “He understands that successful cooperatives are built on trust, relationships and a willingness to invest in the future. His leadership has helped shape Indiana agriculture, and this award recognizes his extraordinary legacy.”
He is known for his collaborative leadership style and strategic foresight, Still championed innovation, embraced emerging technologies and encouraged partnerships that strengthened the entire agricultural value chain. His influence extended well beyond Keystone, where he served on numerous industry boards and worked alongside agricultural organizations to advance policies and initiatives benefiting Indiana producers.
“Kevin has always believed that the success of agriculture depends on working together,” said Bryan Fischer, chair of the ACI board of directors. “Whether leading Keystone through transformational growth or contributing his expertise across the industry, he consistently demonstrated integrity, humility and a commitment to helping others succeed. His influence will continue to be felt for generations.”
