Governor Mike Braun has announced a 30-day gas tax holiday, suspending the 7% fuel usage tax for Hoosiers.
The suspension may be extended if the emergency continues.
Braun urged retailers to pass savings to consumers and said the state will monitor prices at the pump.
He also asked the Attorney General to enforce protections against price gouging.
