Road Closure Planned for State Road 54 In Sullivan County

The Indiana Department of Transportation says State Road 54 near Sullivan is scheduled to be closed on Friday at the railroad crossing near St. Clair Street.

The closure is necessary for the repair of the crossing.

Work is expected to take one week to complete, depending on the weather.

The official detour will be U.S. 41 to State Road 58 to State Road 67 to State Road 59.

Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
