Vincennes University’s WVUT-TV Dropping PBS Affiliation

Vincennes University has announced that WVUT-TV will end its affiliation with PBS, effective June 30th.

The station will continue to broadcast PBS programming through the end of June.

The university says the decision to drop PBS follows a broader review of operations and long-term sustainability, following a loss of federal and state funding for public broadcasting in 2025.

Plans for what programming the station will carry after June 30th will be announced later.
