Boonville is building a new public pool with water slides, splash pads, and an Olympic-size pool, aiming to open by Memorial Day.
The city is replacing the old Richard’s public pool, which has been closed for years, to create a space that serves all of Warrick County.
Construction crews poured concrete for the pool, sidewalks, and walls, finished the roof on a 10,000-square-foot pavilion, and moved unexpected gas lines along the way.
Project leaders and city officials say the community is excited to see the new aquatic center take shape.
