The steady rise in gas prices continues. Triple-A puts today’s national average at $3.98 a gallon.
It was $3.79 a week ago.
A month ago, just before the start of the Iran war, the national average was $2.95.
Meanwhile, Triple-A says the average price of gas in Indiana Tuesday stood at $3.98 per gallon, 17¢ higher than Monday and the same as Tuesday’s national average.
It was also 30¢ higher than a week ago, $1.21 higher than a month ago, and 80¢ higher than a year ago.
Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Tuesday was $5.12 a gallon, 11¢ higher than Monday and 19¢ higher than a week ago.
It was also $1.29 higher than a month ago and $1.50 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Tuesday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, the same as Monday and the same as Tuesday’s national average.
