Registered Sex Offender Taken into Custody at Oakland City Primary School.

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a Somerville man was arrested Thursday morning for Unlawful Entry of School Property by a Serious Sexual Offender, a Level 6 Felony.

47-year-old Branden Willis, a registered sex offender, entered the office area of Oakland City Primary School.

He was held there by East Gibson School Corporation’s School Resource Officer and school administration until sheriff’s deputies arrived.

Willis is being held without bond in the Gibson County Security Center.
