Otwell Progress Committee Receives $5,000 America250 Grant

The Indiana Arts Commission has awarded $60,000 in grants though the America250 grant program, supporting arts projects that celebrate American history and connect participants to that history in anticipation of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Twelve organizations around the state will receive $5,000, including the Otwell Progress Committee.

The committee will use those funds to support an “America250 July 4th Celebration Concert”, a patriotic concert featuring Air Force veteran Jamie Teachenor, the composer of the anthem for the United States Space Force, performing music that highlights American history and service.
