Olney Man Arrested for Auto Theft in Daviess Co.

Washington Police arrested an Olney, Illinois man for auto theft Wednesday afternoon.

After hearing a report of a vehicle being stolen from a westside gas station, a school resource officer happened to be in the right place at the right time and spotted the vehicle on Apraw Road.

Washington Police caught up to the vehicle on County Road West 300 North where the driver was taken into custody.

39-year-old Justin Ashworth of Olney, Illinois. Is being held on $10,000 bond in the Daviess County Security center on a charge of Auto Theft.
