A Crane man is facing charges in a road rage incident last Thursday in Pike County.
The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says the driver of a car reported that 41-year-old Vincent Hunter Romero pointed an AR-15 at him after a verbal exchange on State Road 61 near River Road.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Logan Tedrow says the driver’s accurate description of the rifle’s distinguishing features and inconsistencies in Romero’s explanation cast doubt on Romero’s denial.
Romero was further found to have two other firearms in his vehicle.
He is charged with Pointing a Loaded Firearm and Invasion of Privacy.
Romero was also found to be the subject of an active Martin County protective order prohibiting him from possessing firearms.
