Daylight Saving Time Starts

The U.S. quietly made the transition to Daylight Saving Time early Sunday morning.

Clocks moved ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local time across much of the nation except in Arizona and Hawaii.

Meanwhile, the Sunshine Protection Act, which would make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide, was reintroduced in Congress this month after having stalled in the House of Representatives last year.
