Fuel prices in the Hoosier state continue to skyrocket due to the ongoing conflict in Iran.
The Triple-A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana on Friday stood at $3.28 a gallon, 9¢ higher than Thursday and 4¢ lower than Friday’s national average of $3.32 per gallon.
It was also 45¢ higher than a week ago, 42¢ higher than a month ago, and 39¢ higher than a year ago.
Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Friday was $4.43 a gallon, 15¢ higher than Thursday and 59¢ higher than a week ago.
It was also 69¢ higher than a month ago and 78¢ higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Friday was 42¢ per kilowatt hour, 3¢ higher than Thursday and the same as Friday’s national average.
