A possible tornado hit Bloomington Thursday night, damaging homes, a bank, the county airport, a Kia dealership, and the local Humane Association shelter.
Roofs were torn off homes on Fieldstone Boulevard, fences and powerlines were down, and over 2,000 customers lost electricity.
The Humane Association confirmed all animals are safe.
The National Weather Service had issued a tornado warning, with more than 30 Indiana counties plus parts of Kentucky and Illinois under a tornado watch.
