After nearly two decades of hosting its women’s health event in the spring and men’s health event in the fall, Good Samaritan is adjusting the timing of both events to better serve the community and increase participation.
The Men’s Wellness Fair will move to June, a change driven by feedback from local farmers who have shared that October often conflicts with harvest season.
The new timing also aligns with Men’s Health Month, reinforcing the importance of preventive care.
This year’s date will be June 9th, with registration opening May 4th.
The Women’s Wellness Fair will take place in August, offering women the opportunity to focus on their own health after managing summer and back-to-school appointments for their families.
This year’s date will be August 11th, with registration opening July 6th.
Both events will continue to be held at Highland Woods Community Center from 7 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
Pre-registration will be required for both.
