Petersburg Man Makes Initial Court Appearance After Police Pursuit in Jasper

A Petersburg man arrested over the weekend following a police chase in Jasper made his initial court appearance Monday in Dubois Circuit Court.

51-year-old Ryan Lashbrook nearly hit two sheriff’s deputies, refused to stop, and pulled his pants down shortly before his arrest.

Lashbrook was apprehended in the parking lot of Dubois County Community Corrections.

The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says he is charged with two counts of Resisting Law Enforcement; Criminal Mischief, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Public Nudity, and Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.
