A Jasper man appeared for his initial court hearing in Dubois County Circuit Court Monday on charges of Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery on a Person Less than 14 Years of Age, Neglect of a Dependent, Criminal Confinement, Operating a Vehicle While Impaired, and Operating a Vehicle While Endangering a Person.
The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says 40-year-old John Racicot was arrested early Saturday morning after police were dispatched to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Racicot had left the scene.
However, he was later taken into custody by Indiana State Police.
