Hoosier Ag Today congratulates Ellie Taylor from Hamilton Southeastern FFA. She earned first place nationally in Agricultural Communications Proficiency during the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis!
Ellie is currently a freshman at Purdue University double majoring in Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Sales and Marketing, with a minor in Farm Management. As a student at Hamilton Southeastern High School, she helped manage her FFA chapter’s social media accounts, website and print media.
Taylor is supported by parents, Bill and Tabetha, and FFA advisors Caroline Mills, Tom Younts, and Cindy Nunez.
After receiving the Proficiency Award, she spoke with Hoosier Ag Today’s C.J. Miller about her passion for agricultural communications, her studies at Purdue University, and plans to someday work as a farm broadcaster and ag media journalist.
