Orange Co. Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Bloomington Man for Possession of Methamphetamine

State Police say a Bloomington man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop Friday night in Orange County.

A police K-9 alerted officers to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle driven by 35-yer-old Zachery Edwards,

A small amount of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found.

While processing Edwards at the Orange County jail, another bag of suspected methamphetamine was found on Edwards.

Edwards is facing preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine in a Penal Facility, Driving While Suspended Prior, Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving License, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
