A new report names downtown Indianapolis and an area north of Fort Wayne as the top spots in Indiana for a possible casino relocation.
The Indiana Gaming Commission hired Spectrum Gaming Group to find where an existing casino could make the most money if moved.
Their study points to high potential around the Statehouse downtown and near State Road 8 and I-69 in DeKalb County, both labeled “proxy points,” not actual sites.
The Indy spot stood out for its proximity to the convention center and stadiums.
The Fort Wayne-area site scored high for its highway access and ability to draw players from Michigan.
The analysis follows a failed 2024 bid to move the Rising Star Casino to Allen County.
