The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says several people have recently fallen victim to various scams within the community.
The public is urged to protect their personal information and make sure loved ones and friends are aware of the scams.
You should NOT send money or gift cards to people you do not know.
The sheriff’s office says scammers will sound convincing and try to confuse you.
And remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
