The Indiana Department of Transportation has postponed an overnight road closure that had been scheduled to begin today (Tuesday) on US 41 near Fort Branch in Gibson County.
The project has been delayed until October 30th due to the weather.
The closure will occur between County Roads 550 South and 600 South.
The closure will allow for an emergency pipe replacement project and will occur nightly between 5:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.
The road will be open to traffic during non-work hours.
The project is expected to take four days to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour will be State Road 64 to I-69 to State Road 168.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
